Agreed on the corporate level.

Do you think they can cut into the tech savvy everyday user? I mean, Verizon is by far the best network, and RIM is putting the best phones out for them.

There probably just aren't enough informed consumers to make much of a difference? Or is iPhone/Droid marekting wallet too big to overcome?

Apple may do product development very well, but they're also very stubborn in some areas. How many times have I scratched my head wondering how much better they could have done by creating an in-house laptop docking station solution. Or break their love affair with the whole "one-button" mouse thing. This is the stuff that irritates me to no end.

I'm very curious to see how well Android is received in the business community. It could be one of the biggest surprises of the year. Palm, on the flip side had everything at one time and lost it all, and I don't think they are going to gain back many customers.

Why was Bing ever invented? That name is horrible. Although I thought the same first with Google (it's a misspelling and a huge pet peeve of mine).

Who will be the first to develop the second generation of interactive console gaming/exergaming? Will Natal (MS's motion-based control system) gain acceptance when finally released?

There's not much to say about RIM. I mean, they'll keep making Blackberries, people will keep buying them. Droid and iPhone don't seem to be viable in corporate sales. Palm is, but I wouldn't bet on them to eat much of RIMs lunch.

Nice.

Two things I agree with:

I think you were right re: Android FTW (2010 is the year). It's on all carriers, so there are no barriers for consumers. How many people do you think run out of their 2 year contracts this year?

I concur about the Apple tablet. All the hype they've gotten about it has also heightened the competition in that segment. Just look at the number of "slates" that have popped up at CES? I can basically get everything everyone ever wanted in an Apple tablet, but in a HP, Dell, Ocean or any other manufacturer.

1 thing I'm not sure about:

Twitter. WTF? I 'get it' and use it to my benefit. But I think the majority of the appeal is that everyone else is on twitter. Twitter this and twitter that. follow me on twitter. TWITTER!
