As it is right now, the only thing you could save money on is messaging, and the options kind of suck: 200/1500/unlimited – $5/$15/$20. Not much of an option there.

Palm should run a program where they buy out your iPhone contract if you switch and sign up for 36 months and the price of the Pre or something like that.
