Wow, this one is too good to pass up. Using 2005 data and 2004 Presidential voting, here’s some interesting statistics in terms of taxation and socialism. 32 states receive more money from the Federal Government in spending than they pay in taxes. 27 of them (84%) voted Republican. 18 states contribute as much as or more than they receive. 14 states (78%) voted Democrat.
