However, I have kept my affiliation with the right while you seem to be more affiliated with the left. Our principles seem to be the similar though.

o The war on drugs is a huge waste of resources
o The republicans spend too many of their efforts trying to enforce their morale codes on us
o They have lost the whole “smaller government” concept which was the main reason I affiliated myself with the republican party in the first place

There are also things I hate about the dem's such as the universal healthcare and anything else the “interferes” with our free market society. The oil companies and going after their profits is a touchy subject with me.

The bottom line is that right or left, I think politicians have lost touch with reality. Nobody is working for the people anymore. They all seem to be working for the party and doing whatever it takes to keep their party in power.
